Bishop Kearney High School is Seeking Head of School

Bishop Kearney High School, sponsored by The Sisters of St. Joseph, Brentwood, NY, is seeking an experienced, collaborative, creative, and innovative Head of School, combining the former positions of President and Principal. The Head of School will be responsible for the leadership, supervision, and administration of the school as well as fiscal management and institutional development.

Located in Brooklyn, NY, this college-preparatory school empowers young women to develop their unique gifts by offering an excellent education rooted in the Gospel of Jesus, imbued with Catholic teaching and tradition, and animated by the charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph.

The candidate must be a Catholic in good standing who will foster the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph in all areas of the school community. She/he must possess the appropriate New York State Administration Certification, a Master-level degree, secondary education experience, and the professional skills needed for effective leadership. The candidate for this position will work collaboratively with the Board of Members of the Sisters of St. Joseph and the Board of Trustees in assuring Kearney’s academic excellence, vitality, and viability.
